About Me
I started My Finance Field Notes as a personal finance blog to share finance tips and lifestyle hacks I’ve learned throughout my financial journey.
I cover personal finance topics ranging from budgeting, investing, healthy money mindsets, and building wealth.
Financial literacy is the cornerstone to a fulfilled life free of financial stress, and yet we don’t learn about how to manage our finances in high school or even college.
Growing up in an immigrant family, frugality was instilled into my core at a young age. This frugality mindset was what helped me save $100,000 within 3 years of graduating college.
Some may think that living frugally means living a life deprived of happiness. But I was able to have great life experiences while building up my net worth.
Frugality is not the same as deprivation. I spend intentionally on life experiences and shed unnecessary expenses so I can craft my ideal life.
As I embark on the 2nd half of my 20s, I will continue on focusing my energy on intentional spending and diversifying my income. My ultimate goal is to reach Financial Independence (and maybe retire early if I feel like it).
Life will get more hectic and complicated from here on out. I hope you’ll follow along in my journey as I navigate through the rest of my 20s.
Let’s build wealth, spend intentionally, and design our best lives!
